The project is to redevelop, in the heart of Donzy, a XIXth century building (a former school) with very fine stonework on the street (skylights, mullions, etc.).
The main intervention (not visible from the public space) is the creation in the backyard of a glazed corridor linking and making independant interior parts, originally distributed in a row.
The wood and glass walkway was created wide enough to serve as a complementary space to the playground of the daycare children.
Inside the (sinister) concrete stairwell of the 70’s had been demolished to be replaced by an airy and bright space visually linking the high and low levels.
